1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Lillie Earth Intelligence handles personal information collected through this website and our products. Our group operates through two entities: Lillie Earth Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware (USA) corporation and parent company, and Lillie Earth Nigeria Limited, its Nigerian operating subsidiary.

For personal data of users in Nigeria, Lillie Earth Nigeria Limited acts as the data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). For the website platform and international users, Lillie Earth Intelligence, Inc. acts as controller. You can reach either entity at the contact details in the final section.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: when you contact us or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message. If you hold an account on our monitoring dashboard or customer portal, we store your email and a securely hashed password.

Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, used to operate and secure the site.

We do not intentionally collect special-category or sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and maintain our services, authenticate account holders, secure our systems, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies necessary to run the site and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect site functionality.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, hosting and content-delivery providers such as Cloudflare, and email infrastructure), under appropriate confidentiality obligations; where required by law or to protect our legal rights; and in connection with a corporate transaction such as a financing or acquisition. We do not sell or rent personal data.

6. Data security

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, hashed credentials (bcrypt), and token-based authentication for our customer portal. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it.

7. International data transfers and data residency

This Privacy Policy covers personal information — the contact and account details described above. Such personal data may be processed in the United States or Nigeria, and where it is transferred across borders we take steps consistent with the NDPA and applicable law to protect it.

This policy does not cover operational, mission, or customer-supplied data processed under a customer agreement. That data is governed by the relevant contract rather than by this policy.

Data residency and customer isolation for government, defence, and security customers. Each customer’s operational data is kept logically isolated and is not shared with, or made accessible to, any other customer or third party — including our other government customers. We do not pool operational data across customers or across borders, and we keep each customer’s operational data within its own jurisdiction under the terms of the relevant contract. We disclose a customer’s operational data only to that customer, except where required by applicable law.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the NDPA for Nigerian data subjects, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and products are intended for businesses and government organisations, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date below.
